Week 12: Wrap up

Am pleased to have finally finished.Started twice. First time by myself, couldn't get a handle on things. Second had work mate to explain processes, much easier and enjoyable.

Week 11: Online applications & tools

Sent gmail as requested. Have been using Google Docs in our library very sucessfully for our internet bookings.

Week 10: Mashups

I made a calender.

Week 9: Podcasts & Audio

Unsure how library could make use of podcasts etc. As yet have not had any questions about this from clients. Something to sit down with other members of staff and dicuss.

Week 8: Answer boards & social searching

It's amazing. I never new this existed. Posted my question, look forward to getting the answer.

Used advanced search and got fewer matches. Just depends which articles have tagged.

LibraryThing.

Think "LibraryThing" is a great idea. Often get asked what is a good book by friends, can not always remember perticulars. Good way to keep a record.

Found item on utub, highlighted embeded address,and copied. Went back to blog, clicked on " New Post ", put title in. Then put curser in box, paste, then publish post.
